I totally like places like this, I can sit for hours and just think about nothing and everything here. I guess the foundation sparks the imagenation and the lack of walls (borders) let it run really free. And I think you captured the spirit of that with your image. =)

And the Cumberland Express rolls along! Wonderful capture and POV. Interesting diversity of effects; healthy widespread foliage in the background, substantial decay in the foreground. Now we know what happened to the Mayan culture. Incidentally, this photo reminds me of certain sections of my city.

Thanks for sharing this! I love finding 'stories' like this. A sad state of affairs if it was a fire. I am surprised it has not been cleaned up as the growth of greens is obvious. :0)
