Description

Founded in 1753 the British Museum hosts a collection of art and antiquities from ancient to living cultures, spanning two million years of human history. Amongst the tons of artefacts to see this place exhibits the Parthenon Marbles, the Rosetta Stone, and Egyptian Mummies. One can easily spend a whole day exploring this museum and it never fails to impress, there is so many things to see, the Ancient Egypt and Greece sections being particular favourites.
