Nothing like commenting on a Christmas image in September (and the wrong year!), but since I'm trying to see your back-gallery, I stopped of here just because it was so different. Yes, the .gif works. I see the animation! Congratulations! (I did 20 animated .gifs, and not only didn't they work, they crashed my Mac. Don't ask...) What's equally wonderful is the strange sweeping & ambiguous landscape around it. That mound of land could be a big wave of water, like this little house & tree is sitting on a huge wave of sea. (And since Chanukah was around then, it could be one of the waves of the Red Sea even though Chanukah didn't have a smidgeon to do with the Red Sea...same faith, that's all...I'll move on...) And then it could be a big bluff with a very bad case of lichen. I always saw your wonderful eye, but I'm beginning to see what play you have in you, and images like this bring it out. A fun & scintillating shot, love the color, and I'd use it for a christmas card in a minute. As for the person living in that house, they might wanna get a helicopter or something...doesn't look like the roads are too great, but hey, that's just me...
