Description

A bit of extra work on the surfacing, although still very basic (and back to dry grass). The mask resolution for the tree distribution is not quite high enough to give an accurate gap width for the road through the trees (right side of the image) but I'd already discovered this in my "Mt Abrupt - 360

Great work! If only there were more variations in the trees. I would reduce the haze and glow on the right.

seems you've put a lot of effort into this one -- i cant quite understand how to apply distribution maps yet -- or to limit the dsitance that they are applied -- and the gap for the road would probably look too clean if you got rid of some of the trees

Very nice ! The population of trees must have taken a very long time to populate, doesn't it ?

I find the distant parts quite realistic.

You have done an outstanding job of making the surface look totally realistic. Your technique for distant trees worked very, very well. The bare spots in the terrain where there are no trees are very convincing.
