That is stunning, Andreas :D I've seen a lot of Northern Lights, some of them really spooky too, but never anything this subtle. Over here in the UK it's rare that we have any at all, but last winter I actually spotted them a couple of times. Nothing instense, but it was without doubts Northern Lights. A lot of people here have never seen them so they don't even know they exist in their sky. You have to know what to look for. Krama vovven fran mig :d

Great decision to post this! Gotta luv those lights. I am so glad you experienced these new colored ones. As I said in the forum, Eija's profile in the one makes the perfect foil for the background.

Glad to see you again! Did I mention before I made your Lussekat? MMMMMMMMMM. You know, as a young child in Ohio and living on the shore of Lake Erie, I was able to see Nothern Lights on 3 occassions. It was so beautiful and mysterious! Great shot with the dog in there, Andreas.

I'm sorry you had to work during the holiday. I know how that can be. I've only seen the Northern Lights one time before. It happened during a midnight walk home along a country road. It was the most amazing thing to witness. Anyway, this is very gorgeous. I love how your POV with Eija too. This would be spectacular printed & framed on the wall. (just an idea) Try not to work too hard. 5+

Oh god, fvcking brilliant! The sharp perspective, the beautiful sky, the dog's silhouette and the blue glow behind your sig at the bottom (nice touch there), everything's fine like wine. I will probably never see the northern lights in my lifetime but you've captured it here so well . . . bravo.

That is beautiful, and thoughtful for letting your dog be in the image too. :o) We can occasionally see the northern lights here, and often I got to see them driving home from work in the wee hours of the morning. Usually they are green, but this is amazing color that I've never seen before either.
