Description
The black one is the very unusual Westland Lysander. Used in WW2 for the clandestine transport of agents and equipment at night behind enemy lines. You can see the ladder for quick entry exit. Also used as an air sea rescue spotter and Army co operation photo/artillery spotter. Used in Canada as a target tug which is where the around fifteen survivors mainly came from. Thanks to one guy Wes Agnew who bought them surplus.
The Gloster Gladiator was a 1930s design which served in early WW2, for a while 3 of these were the only air defence of Malta. This one is in Royal Norwegian Air Force Marks.

I am sooooo jealous. Two classic and rare birds in a fly-by. You should market this pic! The Gladiator also flew with a number of other air forces besides the RAF and Norway. They even fought on the other side with Finland.
