Description

Ok, starting of the new year with this one. With the 1.1 release, Maxwell is finally starting to be a useful tool. There´s still a few issues left to solve, but the look of this scene is pretty close to what i had in mind for the renderer from start. Cinema4D for the models, Photoshop for postwork. Hope you enjoy.

Phew! Interesting blend of architecture, a village in southern europe around the year 2107? Lovely texture for the motar render on the buildings.

Very unique architecture, it's hard to describe but I like the look. Of course it's the details that really catch my eye and as usual you don't disappoint. Now if you'll excuse me I think I'm going to have to go for a walk through that scene. ;)

When they next contemplate creating a game like Myst, they should talk to you ! Excellent work.

Wonderful blend of past and future architecture. Probably more like it will be, if it isn't coming to pass already.

A nice change of pace from your cityscapes. I like when you focus on viginettes like this. Also your individual neighborhood scenes. My only suggestion is to populate these scenes! They always look like they were snapshots taken somewhere between 3 and 6 am when everyone is either going to bed or waking up! LOL!
