Description

Ok, starting of the new year with this one. With the 1.1 release, Maxwell is finally starting to be a useful tool. There´s still a few issues left to solve, but the look of this scene is pretty close to what i had in mind for the renderer from start. Cinema4D for the models, Photoshop for postwork. Hope you enjoy.

Wonderful job, Rudy! Models and mats are superb, but some details (foreground trees, i.e.) are great. And it has a little "Jungle Island" feel too, so I hope you'll try to make some Riven-like" landscape in the future:) - Can't vote, but consider it done :)

this really looks 'lived in', or maybe 'worked in', perhaps by an HG Wells character.

Your work is excellent. Are you a professional? (meaning do you sell yoru models somewhere?) Most of the excellent work I see is in Cinema but I only use poser. If you had a model for poser I would definitely buy it! I love the way this one sort of reminds me of a hobbit city or something close. I almost expect some odd, alien creature to emerge from one of those buildings.

Gorgeous work! The architectural massing is interesting as well as very cohesively detailed. It has a nicely cluttered look as if this has "grown" over time. Well done!

It looks like your hard work and patience is paying off in spades. I was looking forward to what you've explored using the Maxwell renderer. This is an exceptional reward. Thanks for sharing.
