Description

I herded these white rhinos of Bona Bona into this formation. Kidding! It was an exceptional capture standing alongside each other in this fashion and my title is somewhat deceptive too. Although they are wild animals one of the cows is quite tolerant of humans and is quite happy to stay near the fodder in the background while weddings are being photographed in the open. It makes for a backdrop as African as can be.
Thanks for your comments and additional info on "A Fallow lost in Africa". It was a good opportunity for me to even learn some Dutch terminology from where they occur naturally.

Looks like an army line-up, or a 100 meter race just before the start... Fantastic capture, and just like them, you were in the right spot for the capture ;o))

You got to be kidding! How the heck did you do that? That's just an amazing shot. Unbelievably good. You have to tell me the trick, how to have Rhino's do what you want. Actually - I would be happy if I could get a squirrel to do what I want for just a min...

Nice line-up Piet. It's strange that rhino's always look so at ease on photographs (but they can be very, very dangerous....at least that's what the books tell me!). Great shot!!

Excellent Piet! One wonders what they are looking at - or rather what they are hearing. As far as I know their eyesight ain't too good. Lovely composition. Wish I could get my kids to do this - just once. LOL
