Description

Comet McNaught had me chewing my nails! Every evening our western skies at Leeudoringstad, South Africa had been covered under thick clouds allowing only for the very opportunistic like Andrid to sneak in a capture. I had my chance last night when the clouds opened up a small window... The quality may not be on standard, I really stretched my glass, lol.

This is amazing! You are so fortunate to have seen and photographed it! Every time we have an epic event in the skies here it seems Mother Nature screws with the view. This must have been so exciting to witness and your photograph is just as exciting to see.

You lucky dog you! I heard about this a day or so after it left the northern hemispheres range of sight, I'm jealous. Cool captures and presentation, I especially like the RH image!!! Did I mention you were a lucky dog?

Fantastic capture for real. Hard to see any in Hawaii. I only saw a shower once. But it was too fast and not a good day. Lucky you. Great job of capturing this one. Aloha

upon looking at the enlarged view looks like you were a very lucky individual to capture this shot right between what looks to be quite intense cloud cover. Good for you!
