Very sad to hear of the loss of your friend. I too have a great cat buddy whom I have been with for almost ten years. I can only begin to imagine the sadness you are feeling with his loss.

Great photos, but I'm sorry about the loss you've suffered. I have 16 cats of varying ages, over 500 cats in my lifetime, and I've had to make that very same decision, so I know what you're feeling. On the bright side, there is a little guy out there, somewhere, who needs your love and a home....don't shield your heart from a new love because of grief...=)

I also sympathize with You because the same happened to me two times during the last 6 years (2 black tomcats...each a true friend and strong, proud character). I still have my little "Shiva", a 17 year old cat...and...this "egoistic lady" really enjoys the situation, You know ;o) Shes got everything for herself now... Anyway, when I saw Your post, I felt a pain in my heart and my throat became dry. No words or anything else can "heal" the pain You feel about that loss but You know, there are people around, which are with You in mind... warm regards Andreas
