In Permanent Beta Mode: Learning ,improving sometimes forgetting but hopefully evolving . I remember a time when i had great passion for this creativity stuff ! Since officially forced into a early retirement now its just a means for passing the time .Cultivating the art of self-effacing humor while trying to age gracefully, all thanks to Opdivo and Yervoy for buying me some more time !

Awsome model and textures. Love the POV and pretty much everything. The only thing I would change would be shadows. maybe from a building or tree behind the camera casting onto the courtyard. But don't listen to me, this is a wonderful scene.

I am in awe! I hope I can learn to do that well in Carrara!

Your texturing gets better every image. Keep up the good work.

Superb models and detailing!! I love the sun-washed look of the textures and lighting as well! I get a real sense of place here; like I could just walk into this picture and peek through the doorway that is invitingly ajar. As usual, your work is exceptional.

I feel like I'm already there! Very nice! You're very talented: keep up the awesome work!!!

The tex and architecture are so amazing that one might not notice the incredible plants and details. 5 stars is TOO low.

I would like to appear there! It's excellent work!

Superlative texturing. Peerless work.

It looks beautiful, you can imagine the people milling about doing their daily chores. Lighting suggests an imminent thunderstorm.

very beautiful, mike.

This is a lovely image. Truly excellent work. I love your attention to detail which makes the scene feel like a real place. There are only two things I would change. To my eyes, the texture tiling repetition on the walls leaps out - perhaps a little noise in the bump channel would soften this. And I'd switch off soft shadows and reduce shadow intensity a touch. The lighting looks just like sharp sunlight on a stormy day but bright sunlight produces crisp edged shadows.

Stunning piece of work, fabulous details and textures.

Excellent creation and wonderful lighting!!!

Very well done there. If you did a black and white version and added some grain, it would pass for a photo.

When are you going to do a tutorial about lights? Your renders are great. Do you use GI? HDRI? How? How? pleeease.

Very realistic and beautiful. I love the transparency of the awnings. How would one make the shadows look like the material is transparent?

Photorealism achieved...so when can I move in ? you have done a really great modelling job and the textures ROCK, IMO I would add a touch more fog, to give the far building a bit more depth, just a suggestion as this is a very kool scene ! ~Cheers~

Hey all thanks for the wonderfull comments on this kind of a rush on the final results before my P.C. goes off for a overhaul, not entirely happy with the lighting it does have issues . As far as the textures go it is a bit over tiled it was a very large map perhaps i should of run it thru the Cinema 4-D UV Boby paint for better results Carraras uv editor needs to be more advanced but thanks for your wonderfull comments , Falconperigot comming from you thats a real compliment !And Finoba i usually spend a great deal of time and usually use HDRI on the lighting and a series of fill lights , not this time just one single spot with softshadows and a low ambient setting . Hey Tim the Transparency is done thru an alpha chanel combined with a texture .Just got to say thanks you guys for the kind comments , thanks again Michael.

Lovely, Mike. Very quiant. Sense of the timeless. The fog just over the roof is a nice touch, too.

realy nice and well done ! One little thing : your sky needs to be re-worked, brighter, in order to suit the rest of your scene. BTW, great job !
