Description

Besides being divided into the Major and Minor Arcanas, the Tarot is further split into four suits within the Minor Arcana. These suits (usually Cups, Wands, Pentacles, and Swords) are the foundation for the suits we have today in a standard deck of playing cards. Beyond that, each suit has elemental and emotional correspondances. Cups correspond with the element of water and all its properties. It also indicates the softer side of human emotions. Cups are romantic and brotherly love as opposed to animal lust. Cups are the power of the mind put to positive use. Cups are healing and abundance. Aces always represent beginings. The Ace of cups appearing in a reading usually means something very poositive. It can be a cleansing, a rebirth, or the start of a beautiful relationship, just to name a few.

Great Image. I remember your other cards before this had a flag with fonts up top... This card doesn't get one??? Just currious. I also think you made an excellent choice on your font selection. I don't think your "liquid" turned out the way you hoped... I wish I could help tell you of a program or file or something, but I haven't gotten into water yet. I personally would get some images of water and over lay them into the picture - I'm hoping to learn how to create water, but until then, I'm gonna go with what I know. I love the series your doing.

I'm actually experimenting with different card frames - also most decks have a number at the top for the Major Arcana, but not necessarily for the suited cards of the Minor Arcana.

I think the water somehow didn't come off as real in this one. I know its from the background you created. I love this idea for the card though. Her expression is terrific she looks very happy....Shannon ;}
