Description

I took poor Gianas gorgeous, delicately textured elf maiden..and made her a sort of biker chick. I didn't mean to--I wanted to try painting hair in a slightly different way (more smudgy), and paint snow, and try making a fuzzy background, and do it with pink, black and blue..and well,now here we have an underdressed Vicky with a sword in the outdoor temple. Parts of it I like very much--especially Giana's beautiful Sunsirae, who really should have had a more respectful setting! The Sword is from Danie and Marforno's Hero's Path, the clothes are painted (Uwe, I still can't paint boots;-)the hair started out as Danae's Aeris hair.

the scenery actually makes me think of chalk cliffs like at Dover, with the stones behind her megaliths :-) It's called "re-purposing" -- see, now she's perfectly outfitted! I think she's great :-)

Well, if i could paint like you, I wouldn't render so many noodie pics! LOL! It really does look incredible-I love the detail on the arm bands, and the DOF in the background looks so cool!!!!! EXCELLENT work!

Sunsirae is such a gorgeous character... probably my fave for V3! I really like what you've done with her here... and for what it's worth, I think the boots are terrif!

here's a thought - scroll the image down to mid-thigh, stand up and then walk out of the room for a few minutes to clear the immediacy of the image from your mind... come back in and stand a short distance away from the monitor and look at things... the reason i suggest this is because i just got back from getting another cup of coffee, walked in and that's what i saw as i was busy looking at the snow and shadowy bit before i got up [my favourite parts, btw - seems i like how you do snow and it has me recalling your snow-ice/dragon image in my mind's eye]... anyway, as someone stated above, you've got a great sense of well-proportioned depth here, even betwixt body and ground, revealed moreso by stepping back... and if you're not happy with the boots, p'raps viewing from a short distance might help you pinpoint better things you can keep in mind for next time - personally, i think they look just fine overall, and though it threw my eyes off at first, in thinking about it, the boot on her right foot probably does have the proper perspective since the back top of it would be slightly drawn down with the forward extension of the shin...
