Description
How easily love can be thrown away
Like unwanted tissues cast aside
Until the one that comes to stay
Refills that empty discarded pride
One man's trash is another man's treasure
How can we confuse our pain with pleasure
It's not about right now anymore
but the end result that waits at the door
It took two women to turn me around
and see my grave there in the ground
It wasn't that my grave looked so bare
It was about she who lay next to me there
So why waste my time with death do us part?
I've already lain out the death of my heart
So born again with life growing anew
I knew I was meant to be here with you.
Rachel, I'm sorry if I introduced doubt
But your love is something I can't go without
That grave next to mine there was yours
and I hope to find you behind all open doors.

Wow. Sometimes I see poems on peoples pics but I didnt know there were people who are primarilly poets here. This is fantastic. Kinda sad, but beautiful.

First may I make a suggestion? Align the detail box to the right. I found when ever I post poetry, that box just detracts from the poem.. this way.. the reader can get absolutely lost in your words.. Your poem.....well...I'm a puddle of mush. So beautiful!! A heartwreching I love you!! Rachel, it is a very special man that can write like this. A very special man that is not afraid to say I love you to the world. You my friend are so undeniably truly, madly, deeply in love. I do hope she accepts your apology.
