Description

Hey y'all. Another pic from Mohonk Mountain House. This one from inside my room just as the sun was setting. I struggled hard to find the right words for this image. It seemed like it was just asking for them...you know? And after much searching, these were all I could find. :^/ So, if any of you can think of something more suitable, I'd really love to know about it. ( If I keep looking for something better I'll never post again, lol. ) Thanks for looking and for any words of advice or suggestions you may have regarding this image...Till next time...stay well and hope you all have a beautiful week. Sincerely, Marlene :^) PS I wasn't going to allow comments, (because I haven't been around all that much), but then, how would I know your possible suggestions? Sigh. So reluctantly, I am going to keep them open. Please feel free to ignore me...lol... ;^)

About time you posted again, but I have to say, it was worth the wait. You've really racheted up the quality of your work, haven't you. And it was already dangerously high, hahahah. I love everything about this, the presentation is just divine!

But, of course! The words are wonderful and the sun can only strike one side at a time, making me want to peer to the left. Warmth looking upon cold. Awesome. (Funny... your ebot said the title was completely different.) Keep uploading or else.... :0)

Hi Marlene, I think you could not have found better words to go with this sublime work. Both words and image are perfection, IMHO.

I can ignor you for free? You won't charge me?...nothing is free in this world..lol.. So glad you popped in ..I almost popped out because they (RR) were going to move my recent eagle picture to mixed media. They apologized and reinstated the picture where it belongs. What a great picture. It's like two pictures in one...Where is Mohonk MT?..It looks beautiful there... Glad to see you back NYH

Beautiful composition, as close to a painting as you can get! But, where have you been? Everyone's been asking about you! Oh, and always remember, if it wasn't for venetian blinds, it would be curtains for all of us.....

I really liked your first title, "Within You and Without You", that speaks a thousand words... this image portrays a very thoughtful mood, verging on the spiritual realm, it has a feeling of times gone by, a looking glass into the past, and yet it's sooooo right now as well. I love all the things this image speaks of... sort of timelessness... I'm so elated to see you posting again... You've been missed around here...

I liked that title, too...but it seemed to need the words to that song, (rather than this quote), and they didn't 'work' for me. :^/

Whether or not there is a scene out the window, this has always been one favourite type of image for me. I could think of a lot of titles too. I like the difference from side to side on the drapes(shears)(curtains). That pattern looks excellent with the silhouette on left. Seeing that person out there is also quite a key point too.You know this reminds me of an image you might see in the beginning of some suspense drama.Maybe that guy just buried something. A thought provoking image Marlene. Top marks to you ! :):)me
