Description

this was taken inside the gallery I had for three hours for the art walk. It was taken with no filter for I forgot to put the red filter on and the camera was set on 400asa [what ever that is] The film say to set it on 50asa. I read this on the net to set it on 400asa ; this man say he likes it better for his shots. I was just playing around with this film for it my first time useing it. I know you see two of the same images. The top image is a scan of the film as is and not touch ups. The bottom image is what the camera place that develop the film printed for me. Big diff they even crop it lol[it was a good crop job but I like to see as is on the prints] The reason I like to see as is so I can see where I messed up. Yesterday I just scan a print and posted it with a lot of grain. I did not have time to scan that image even today I did not scan it but I will now. So if you all doing film of have done film please go back and look at your good prints and find the film and scan it. It may be better that the print. In the image I like the lighting that wrap itself around the faces. Sun light running across the bodys and the backlight on the wall. faces in the shadows thanks for comments and what ever else you think of.

Good looking kids there, Jocko! Evidently, you can create interesting results using infrared film, such as ghost- and spirit-like compositions. I like the top photo over the bottom one, but the bottom shot also holds a lot of potential. With more practice you can get real good using this medium.

Very nice photo Jocko, I like your scan the best. I also like the way the light glows around their faces from bouncing off thier light clothes, it is a neat effect!

Dear Jock, I've had similar problems with photoprocessors. When they do the prints, tell them to turn OFF all their enhancement stuff. It usually makes a mess of things rather than fixing the balance, gamma, and stuff. And when they do mess it up, have them reprint it again!!!!! They make sych a cute couple!!! Hope they are getting settled down into married life!!! I wish them and all your family the very best!!!!!! Love ya!!! Meredith Meredith Elaine Wilson - MeredithLand

I like the top because it is a subtler version of the bottom one. Their shirts seem to glow and we can see their faces as well. Really excellent!

The result is awaited Jocko... you photograph in a very luminous part, therefore vou be with a light rich in UV... thus your filter UV does not let more pass but truths frequencies... of the infra-red... here in black. I think... I can travel false! Ah Ah Ah
