Description

this was taken inside the gallery I had for three hours for the art walk. It was taken with no filter for I forgot to put the red filter on and the camera was set on 400asa [what ever that is] The film say to set it on 50asa. I read this on the net to set it on 400asa ; this man say he likes it better for his shots. I was just playing around with this film for it my first time useing it. I know you see two of the same images. The top image is a scan of the film as is and not touch ups. The bottom image is what the camera place that develop the film printed for me. Big diff they even crop it lol[it was a good crop job but I like to see as is on the prints] The reason I like to see as is so I can see where I messed up. Yesterday I just scan a print and posted it with a lot of grain. I did not have time to scan that image even today I did not scan it but I will now. So if you all doing film of have done film please go back and look at your good prints and find the film and scan it. It may be better that the print. In the image I like the lighting that wrap itself around the faces. Sun light running across the bodys and the backlight on the wall. faces in the shadows thanks for comments and what ever else you think of.

Super effects, I like the top pic, you seem to have good control on the contrast and detail. Great film for experimentation, never know what you are gonna get. Excellent work Jock.

I like the top one, it's more traditional, and I can see both kids, and admire them, you have a handsome son and beautiful daughter in law. That said, I LOVE the bottom picture for it's drama! The extremes in shadow and sunlight add a bit mystery to the photo. Awesome, and a bit spooky even. Each version serves it's purpose, and I would choose the second one.
