Description
Nossein Valentyne, Vale of the Strangers, opens out onto the crystal clear waters of the green salmon lake, and then into the Glasgern Sea. Precious little grows now on near-barren rock. The Triquetra Unity invaders, nearly seven centuries ago, burned and stripped the land, even sowing salt in the little patchwork of fields used by the local tribespeople. Seabirds and nomadic fisherfolk, following the sea's harvest, are plentiful though, in season. The rich fishing, in the deep cold waters, was never in danger from the tight-masked western warriors. Like a bad winter storm, they appeared, flowed over the land, gave up on the stubborn native population, and went off to convert more malleable souls, in southern parts goes the bardic tale.
