Born in Hilo, Hawaii and class of '66, I became very active in Barbells, Judo and love striking the heavy/speed bag. I've learned to Rollerblade and bike ride which is a very health sport. But time doesn't stop for anyone including for me. So my good friend Dave aka punaguy got me started in taking pictures. I'm having fun taking pictures especially hiking the mountains. I'm enjoying seeing the world thru your post on Renderosity. Mahalo and Aloha....Errol

WOW! What a shot! You know those Lava fields are so dangerous right? The LAVA can jump/pop from under the ground in no time and reason! Love the shot and the centered piece of LAVA [Nose] looks just fine! Hummm...Did you try to look for real big pieces of DIAMONDS! :D Thank you for the post and sharing your art my friend and have a nice day/night JOE

Dear Errol, I'm glad she was OK!!! It could be a heck of a lot worse!! I'd be fraid not only of getting lost, but of falling into a lava tunnel or something. I too think you would make a great guide! Not only for your knowledge, but also because of your love for the place!! That always shows through!! Hmmm - do you have cell hone service there? Some places get blocked because ofthe terrain - like in Bryce Canyon. You can call from the road, but if you start down a trail there is too much rock around you. If the cell phone works, at least folks could call for help. And if the phone has a GPS built in, they could be found pretty easy! And yes - I've used mine that way before - "Hello - could you tell we where I am?? I'm blond!!" It works everytime!!!! Super capture!!! The red looks hot, but I'll bet the "gray crusted" areas are pretty toasty, too!!!!! Love ya!!! Meredith
