Well I really don't know what to put here... Born and raised in Port Huron, Michigan but currently living in Upstate New York. I love making artwork with Poser and sharing it with everyone here. Its something I enjoy doing, I have yet to attempt to make any money with it but then I'm still not sure I plan to.
Most of my creations are based on inspiration or mood so I don't really follow a certain theme or anything like that... I guess I'm open to ideas and suggestions, if there's something you'd like to see just throw some details at me and I'll see what we can put together. I've been a member here for awhile but I'm still relatively new because I only recently started really getting into what I do with Poser.
Thank you to everyone who's ever posted comments or rated one of my images. Everything said keeps me motivated and wanting to do more. Look forward to seeing everyone around and happy rendering! :)

Real nice softness to this scene! Adds to the subject's beauty.

This render is truly something! With the softened lighting, and the desatured finish, it could easily be confused for a real person. You have a real talent there, and all I can say is Congratulations. DO keep it coming. David P. Hoadley

This is a wonderful image. It looks good and I really like the softened lighting and her expression is great.

The softness is very nice, yeah, and I like the lighting in general. I'm looking for some more intensity to her expression, and the color seems a bit green to me (my color vision isn't all that great so it may just be me).

Very beauty and brilliant render..bravo!V:DDD.Hugsxx

Beautiful and soft. I like the lighting, the pose and the expression. Your postwork is getting better and better.

i like the softness of the pic. and the hair. her expression doesn't really indicate sadness to me, and i'm not keen on the skin- it looks yellow and i would like to see a bit of texture in it

The Pose and Hair are well done!...the hair maybe coulds use a bit more shadow on the skin....great skin tone, almost looks painted. The Bright white area near her shoulder is a bit distracting. Well done.

Well im supose to be a critic now... i have a problem .. i cant find anything.. If i had to point out something, its that the end of the hairs can be a little bit more real.. but that i see a lot with painted hair Love the moody " old brown" color used..

On a whole this is a lovely image yet I am not sure that it conveys sadness. Her skin is a little too perfect - but then that's the softness you were aiming for I'd think. The postwork is far in advanced of what I can do so great job there.

OMG...this is a fantastic image!!! How did you attract so many 'critics' (snort)???? 5+ and an instant fav!

Excellent render I think it has the exact emotion you were aiming for!

I think you achieved what you set out to do!

Critique Group :) I like colours in this piece, and the way her cheek lays on her arm. Very natural pose. My only crit is that you forgot to add shadows cast by hair.

I'd say you created & captured the mood quite perfectly!! Beautiful work :)

I just wanted to note that I 'did' add shadows under her hair but after i tinted the image and added lighting it sorta faded out. But since the hair is supposed to be laying across her cheek, I thought it still worked out pretty well. That white spot by her shoulder... working on that right now LOL its been bugging me as well :P

Soft and beautiful piece. I love the sepia colouring, gives it a real nostalgic, melancholy feel. I don't think the expression is quite there, but don't overdo it, you don't want something cartoonish. I've just realised that the eyes look too hard for sadness - I'm not seeing any eyelashes - maybe the post-processing softened them into oblivion? You might try rendering in a separate pass and overlaying the lashes - or paint them on, your painting skills are obviously good, I can see that by the hair! Good job :-)

Wonderful artwork.

Critique Group: this a very soft and sombre piece. i love the use of color to create a mood. the sepia tone makes it much more human and warm than if it had been a cooler hue. and it's a small thing, but the eyes seem to be properly lit and not full of burned in highlights, which i really like. the skin looks beautiful and soft. i agree that there could be a bit more expression in her face, but just a tiny smidgen more. it's hard for me to tell because this is so stylized, but i think that the hair could be a bit different. right now it sort of defies gravity by parting in the middle of her head and one side flowing upward. also, it sort of wraps her head going down instead of more of a direct route to the lowest point.

Very good indeed! It looks like a painting, a very GOOD painting. Funny how dark eyes convey emotion, especially sadness, so well. It's actually hard for me to find something to actually critique. Others have mention a few minor details I would have missed, but, unless it's something rather obvious, I do tend to miss the suble. :)

The coloring, pose, and overall softness is enchanting:) The only minor thing I can see (and it is very minor) is that the hair over her neck doesn't seem as soft and feathery as the rest of her haircut. It's almost ropelike. The hair strand along her jawline is perfect.

There is something about the eyes that bothers me. It seems to me that she should be looking down (toward her nose) toward whatever surface her head is resting on. I just tired putting my head on the desk and it was very difficult to keep my gaze straight ahead: I found that my eyes wanted to focus on the desktop a little bit in the distance. I like the soft focus look, but I think it might be a bit too soft. The detail of her skin has been lost and has taken on a bit of a plastic look to it. I love the pose and the facial expression in general. I can't paint hair, but I think you did a good job on it. And the colour choice for it is very complimentary to the skin texture.
