This is very nice, though I wish there was a touch more contrast and not as much brightness. Thats a lot of work on the dragon pose and it looks spot on.

So ... this is a great image nothing wrong with it.. the only itty bitty thing i can think of is the shadow to the right ... i whould have made it more straight back so that the border of the image did not break any part of the scene.. now the shadow goes beyond the border.. when it was completly IN the image it was perfect in my book so 4 stars ;}

For my part, I love the texturing... I don't know whether you used any particular procedural tricks in V6, or if this is just the texture maps as normal, but it pops out at you. It almost looks like the kinds of well-painted miniature you see featured in wargaming magazines. Very nice work!

I think you got it spot on. In fact, without the background, it looks like one of those awesome fantasy statues. Ever seen the dragon statues from that series? You have captured their look very well. Uping the contrast might indeed improve to look a bit more. :)

What great little statute! This looks like a photo. Wonderful pose, and column. I think a background would have detracted from the image, so you made a good choice going without. This is a top notch image :)

beautifully simple. it's very minimal, which is a great strength. i really can't imagine anything else in the scene. the lighting looks great. the dragons' pose is excellent; it looks entirely natural on top of being perfectly in touch with the column. the tail looks like it's right up against the leg and the column, with no overlap. i know how hard it can be to pose a figure so it looks like its interacting naturally with another object, and this is a lot more complex than sitting something on a surface or putting something in its hand. i'm very impressed. the only oddity or inconsistency i'd say is the shadow. the dragon and column look very evenly lit, but the shadow is very directional. i assume you only let one of your spots have shadows? maybe if you had toned down the shadow, or let both spots cast them. or performed some sort of cheat to make the shadow more directly behind them and smaller. but that's the only possible flaw i can see. very, very nicely done.

Wow. The image looks great. Great pose, impressive. I would think about changing the focus of the camera. The upper part of the collum looks a little bit strange, that could fix it. I would maybe try to lower GI so that the shadows become a little more prominent. But the lighting is alredy very good. And, to nitpick a bit, it seems as if one toe of the lower left claw goes through the stone - but it is hard to see, and maybe I am wrong.

Great pose and texture. I have no problem with the lack of background, makes you wonder if its a "real" dragon or a statuette. The only thing I see is that the lower foot is embedded in the stone.

I like this. Good lighting, great texture work. I agree with the comment on the shadows, I think the image would pop out even more without a shadow on the floor. Nice gradient on that floor, by the way. And yes, the lower left claw intersects with the stone. Great composition!

Where's the nekkid Vicky? I thought she was mandatory in Dragon scenes - at least I always include her. Great work on the pose (except for a bit of claw positioning). Really nice lighting and texturing. Simple...but very effective.

It would be great if there was something else in the scene to give us some sense of scale, and perhaps push the camera position down and angle up, to give us some sense of scale. He looks like a very small dragon :) which may have been just what you intended, hard to tell.

From my point of view the Dragon is funny and great how it is posed here. I think this image looks so great becourse there is nothin else in the scene. Would be more arround the Dragon, the model wouldnt look so unique anymore.

Now - you are just showing off - because you can use hexagon and I can't :) :) I like it it remains me of a pottery model. Well done with the pose.

Wow... no background needed with this I think, just a small thing: doesn't really look to be any shadows from the dragon on the column, almost looks like once piece. I really like the POV and the lighting is really nice! :D

Excellent work on the pose. The lighting is very realistic. The impression I get is a photograph of a model. That's probably because of the background setting. I'd be interested to see this with some kind of scene going on.

No criticsm, just congratulations! I've just been so busty with my pet project to remap Posette, that I haven't had time to keep up with my comments. Although I can only spare this a very quick glace, it looks to be a very good render. DO keep up the good work. David P. Hoadley
