Description
Wow, what a learning experience this is...
Okay, I re-rendered, because I wasn't all that enchanted with the glass.
There is no composited background that's Roy Loo's Patio set in the back.
I turned on Ambient Occlusion on the floor prop-- what a concept, why isn't it the default?
Toned down the veins on hands, feet and wrist
Adjusted the pinky
A cookie for Jovial - that is scar tissue on her knees!
pjz99 - I wasn't sure if you were referring to the scars, because coincidentally this render keeps coming up with black artifacts on both her legs, but I think I cloned them out. I did however render at 100 dpi.
svdl - I don't know how to do caustics in Poser or Photoshop.
And last but not least, I didn't try to soften the image in post
Great critique, thanks everyone!

This came out great :)

Ah!, this is much much better than the first one! Everything looks awesome now, I really have no crit except for one I already commented earlier, which is her left pinky which doesn't seem natural (should be closer to the next finger, more vertical). Now I notice: shes sooo beautiful... And her expression is so sweet. Very good!

Very nice, big improvement
Bea
I liked it before and I like it now :)
KarenJ
wow, great improvements made! Well done!
Jovial
Now I like it a lot. Excellent.
pjz99
It does indeed look a lot better: - Bottle and glass look GREAT - Knees look much better - Her pose is beautifully natural, very good job on that You're gonna be annoyed at me though, because I still don't see a lot of shadow, not to a similar degree to what the furniture is casting. I suspect you have an up-pointing infinite to get that flattering bit of light on her bottom - it's very pretty, so I'll not make any fuss over that. However her left side really ought to be throwing some shadow onto the floor. I'd guess that you have the shadow radius set very high in one or more lights, and that's what's eating up all the shadow. As before, a beautiful composition and concept!

The improvements are great. You've done a really good job with the whole image.
AnAardvark
Much better. I really don't see a problem with the shadows except that perhaps the sofa in the background is casting a little more well-defined shadow than anything else in the scene.
svdl
A definite improvement. Good AO effect around her feet, and the glass is much, much better. Caustics are TOUGH. I know how to do them in Vue, but Poser is much weaker when it comes to raytracing than Vue. The refraction effects in that bottle are wonderful! Great addition. I like the crispness and clarity of this image much better than the softening in the previous version. The shadows of the plant and chair and her butt remain a problem. A lower shadow blur radius, and zooming in the shadow cam, perhaps combined with a larger shadow map could help. Maybe even add a second light as a copy of the first one, halve both in intensity, and set the second light to raytraced shadows. You've kept the many strong points of the previous version, and the improved sharpness brings them out even more. Good job!
Acadia
I really like the setting that she is in, and indeed she does look a tad on the blue side. Two things....the first is that she looks like she's floating on the floor, probably as someone above mentioned due to the lack of shadows. Also, I'm not sure why her bum is glowing like it is because I don't really see any other evidence of light other than the glass which also seems to be glowing with the same colour. Perhaps there should be some indication of light on the floor giving direction to the light source?
BAR-CODE
CG. looks real good now ..maybe next time the texture of the floor copy it to the bump mat and set it at a low level ..it does not matter its not grey.. that wil give a bit of bump to the tiles on the floor and ad reality to them.. Chris

You can see the hard work, you really really can. Excellent, and beautiful mood on the scene.
JOELGLAINE
Acadia already got my comments about the glowing bum. LOL It looks really good! I'd take a look to see if there is a light showing from under the floor plane. That might account for the wierd looking shadows. I did that two renders ago and took forever for me to figure out. Just one thing! Keep you imagination's original vision uppermost, so you don't lose it trying to please everyone. I hope these comments help you get closer to that vision. It'll be kick-ass when you hit it! (It's pretty close now.)
Greywolf Starkiller
Much improved. No crits I can think of for this version.
RandC
A moody pic..thats much improved...well done
Anasta
I think this looks quite a bit better then the first upload. I'm thinking maybe the light on her rear could be from a spotlight pointed at the glass to give it the highlight? I could be wrong but if that is the case you could either tilt down that light so its not shining on her rear or just postwork in some shadows to cover that area... Overall though this is a really nice image, great work! :D
drifterlee
This looks dark on my monitor, so it is hard to see, but very nice.
dphoadley
kalon, you are really someone special! I'm still swamped by my Posette remapping project, so I have difficulty in keeping up with all my friends uploads. In brief, I think that this is an excellent render, and a sure reflection of your vision, taste, and skill as an artist. DO keep them coming! DPH
kobaltkween
i think this is a lot stronger. the glass materials look much more substantial, and the image is a lot clearer even though it has retained its softness. i'm very impressed how you changed the glass and bottle. the light on her left buttock still seems disconcerting to me, and makes her look a bit as if she's hovering. i just love the mood of this image. nice job!
RBlue
Oh yes! This is much nicer! A very good render! The environment now enhances the character and sets the mood! Bravo!

From the Critique Commitee - I really like the shadows of your composition, and her pose with her hair on her hand, really just right.
