I dont think of myself as an artist - more a creatively minded laymen. Im blessed with perpetual inspiration, but cursed by a lack of talent.
I have always loved to sketch, and on the odd occasion even paint. Unfortunately for me, a real world canvas doesnt have an undo button. This is why, back in 1996, I first started toying with a Shareware version of Paint Shop Pro (found on the cover of a magazine). I knew almost instantly that digital art was for me.
Fast forward to 2006, when I discovered a highly under-rated (yet unfortunately limited) program called FaceGen. Within hours of tinkering with the software I was creating realistic characters well beyond anything I could have managed via traditional mediums. But what to do about bodies for my newly created digital brethren?
I took it upon myself to scour the internet in search of a 3D software package that was flexible enough to fulfil my specific needs, while still being NOOB friendly. Untimely I didnt want to spend months, or even years deciphering the ins and outs of 3D Studio Max for instance.
It wasnt long before I caught digital whisperings of a program called Poser, which lead me eFrontiers very own site.
In search of more examples of Poser art I found myself inevitably at Renderosity...and I havent looked back since.
The community here is certainly a mixed bunch (as are all communities, online especially), but in the great majority they have proven to be incredibly helpful, and wonderfully supportive.
If you plan on commenting on my images (and I certainely hope you do) while praise is always appreciated, critical analysis and constructive criticism is encouraged.
Happy rendering!

I especially like the arms and the torso-- in the still pose. Let me demonstrate my ignorance of muscle names... Is that flappy part under his left chest/breast supposed to look that way in the dynamic pose?

Looks like he could stand few rounds against the Freak AND Nybras at the same time...The muscle morphs looks amazing, but the face morph take the prize...I like specially the work on the hands. In my opinion Apollo hands are a little bit small in relation with the body...Maybe in the dynamic pose, instead of twist from the chest, you could twist him from the waist...Cant wait to see him kick some faces around!!!

I will look forward to them in the freebies.here? he does have much better calfs

Small suggestion: render with Smooth Polygons on, the back of the calves in the action pose shows a bit of polygon-ness. In your morph you may want to be a little more cautious in action poses, as the bottom rib appears to be bending a little bit (limitation of the app of course, not your fault).

Kalon - I'm clueless when it comes to naming muscle groups too! The poking rib-cage type thing was intended to be prominent, but probably not quite so much. Point taken. DarkPascal - Thank you for your comments. I'd like to think this fella would mop the floor with the Freak. If not, he could always recruit his Ogre mate to help! I think perhaps a bit of a twist of the waiste AND the chest is in order. Meeting half way between the two. Yesitis3 - Yep, these will eventually be here in R'osity's Free Stuff section.

Sorry for the double post, but pjz99 posted while I was typing. I don't generally use Smooth Polygons while testing morphs because it can mask problems that I could otherwise fix.

He looks ready to tear the place up! Nice work!

Another excellent morph. Nicely done.

I like him, although the figure on the left i'm having issues with the rib. Its a little concave (IMO that is) for such a beefy guy. Again, thats personal taste, not anything against the artistic merritt, which is excellent.

ClawShrimp, you are really someone special! I'm still swamped by my Posette remapping project, so I have difficulty in keeping up with all my friends uploads. In brief, While I myself prefer Posete and Dork more than these newer figures, I think that you've done an excellent job here, and one that is a sure reflection of your vision and skill as an artist. DO keep them coming! DPH
