Description
My first picture posted, actually my second set.
The pose is a variation on a joke I read long ago.
I had planned to have the bat sit in lotus position, but that proved impossible (yet?). Now I have tried to make the best of this human expression of despair.
I have tried to achieve this by lighting. There is a faint distant light causing the uncomfortable color. There is a white spotlight emphasizing the
expression. There is another white spotlight (with a very narrow angle) that I had wanted to reflect in the eye, but that too is beyond me (yet?).
Created in DAZ|Studio using their SilverKey 3d Bat and their tree Trunk.

Very nice for a second set, especially the lighting. Wish my first attempts had looked this good. :) If you want to get that lotus position the length of the legs may work against you. The length of the body and legs is very different from the ratio you'd find in a human, but perhaps scaling the legs of the bat to become longer may be a start? As for the reflections: I don't know anything about DAZ|Studio, but perhaps you should just try to put the reflections you want on the eye texture, instead of trying to achieve the same effect with the lighting?
