Description

I think this is the first public outing for my ND8 filter i bought about 2 months ago... I walk up these steps every time i visit rachel in Edinburgh (they come out of the train station at Waverley) and over time i planned the shot, so, walking around the city yesterday brought us past the station so i asked nicely if she would be my model (once again) and we set up the shot. One of the out-takes has a couple stood in the lower area, motionless, because they were being nice and letting me take the shot without them in frame - thing is they were in frame and they werent supposed to be stood still! I didnt bother explaining that to them tho, just waited a while until more people came around :) Thanks to rachel for being my willing subject again! :) Enjoy! Rich

Nice shot. I love the angle you've chosen for this one and the feeling of motion in the passers-by. Great in B&W but still shows that the sun was shining looking at the shadows on the wall. Great capture. xx
