Description

I was going to post this yesterday but my thoughts was to dark at the time,. All I could think of was the edge of death here. My oldest son girfriend mother is dieding just a few days left for her. I thought of the people here on R.R. too who is close to dieing or know someone who is. You see I was thinking dark thoughts yesterday. Today I thought a lot and I thought of people on edge for a lot of things like games we do is on the edge. Some will climb up cliffs stright up lol I never could rock climb. Some walk on lava. Some thinks of walking on a bridge that is falling apart[I got the photos of that I post later.] Some will jump out of planes or tree tops[did that as a child] We all live on the edge; doing things that is risky. You can think of a lot of things. Maybe tie a modell plastic car to a truck and see how fast it will go before it falls apart[about 45 mph]that is not much of a risk but I jump off the back of the truck to get it and I fip and landed on my head. Got brain damage [donot worry that was over 40 years ago.] Liveing on the edge you can go over the edge thanks for every thing ps as you see I not thinking darky just a lot more stuff to think about. i sorry but I say a lot to try to expain myself. and I know most people do not write up on this stuff. I know time is on the edge too here sorry I took your time.

Nice to see the return of the Bone Man.. :-) I'm glad your writing more with your images. It gives us (the viewer) more of an insight to what the artist (you) was thinking. On the edge..yes, I understand that..At this stage in my life, I prefer to take most of my risks with art. But sometime at work, I take risks with mixing sound..There are time when you feel the need to "go for it" Thanks for sharing your writing with us..I for one am enjoying it

Not a problem to express yourself Jocko - you do it well with both words and images.

Interesting concept of a two dimensional boneman apparently lost in an alternate dimension. The dark mood effect is very good.

you express what you write so well, it's almost seems as he's holding the surf board of the edge of high life and edge of darkness of life, We can't have one without the other, as this boneman is telling us. Superb presentation

Art is a release for the soul, isn't it? Here one can do it with images AND with words! I agree that what you write about your thoughts and feelings can only make your images better for the viewer. Love your skelly pieces, no one can do them the way you do!

You express yourself well and speak what many never say but also think. But I don't find it to be dark thoughts, I think of it as adventure, exploration, and living in all corners of life - not just a safe, sturdy box. Really good photo, mood and words.

interesting concept and well presented :) I notice that this picture is fairly smooth... have you managed to get rid of the grain problem then? :) oh and what you said reminded me of something, a saying about human nature which the clothing brand No Fear picked up on: "If you aren't living on the edge, you are taking up too much space". Life would be boring without any risk taking, think about that guy or girl you asked out who is now your partner for instance...

It is necessary of very to make a world and to appreciate the good things. Let us avoid the obstacles, in the measurement of our means!

You know jocko: the only thing I did that was not only stupid when much younger in canada I was like 12 and took my dads car for a ride (IN THE SNOW AND ICE ROAD) nearly killed myself and then as a teen my parents said no to a week-end of skiing so I ran away in the middle of the night up north to go skiing with my friends that week-end I ran into a tree broke my leg so thats about living on the edge for me lol: Now older & settled down I do nothing so sometimes we do live on the edge but we do get smarter: love you story and painting:
