Description

She is the grand daughter or great grand daughter of the lady that is bury; I not sure. But she was looking at the backhoe burying the lady and I thought it looks a little surreal looking as the first generaon is been bury; the third generation is looking on. And the second generation is burying the first generation. Her dad or big brother called her to go. So I click as she turn her head . Miss the shot I wish but I think it still a good shot. May not be surreal. Guess that is in my head. I know these is candit shots. But I know a lot of times that is very good. When I was shooting these shots the sky was overcast and it rain a little. Some one told the little girl when it rains at a furnaul it means Jesus is crying. I do not believe that. thanks for looking and comments I be back later today for my youngest son is getting out of collage with a B I got to go and get photos of this.

It is one of those shots that tells you that time moves on and everything passes on to be replaced by new... I took a funeral shot years and years ago of 4 generations of women standing by the casket of the 5th generation woman. It just makes you stop and think... good eye to see this one and good shot.

Each time that an adult dies in the world, a child nait on Earth... said to me one in my youth. Your photograph symbolizes a little this fate!

Beautiful red earth. Adds to the scene, I think. I like the hearse behind the backhoe. An interesting contrast in events. The operator is just working at another day at the job, and the hearse is a pivotal emblem of the ending of a life. The child has yet to actually begin her life. As usual, a photo to ponder.

Poor little thing. It looks like a bit too much for her to understand. Thanks for the pic! (:

I think the little girl is annoyed because they won't let her drive the backhoe. Nice balance in this shot, Jocko, with a cool hearse in the background.

being candid is what makes good shots so do not apologize for being candid. I wonder what is going through her young impressionistic mind

A very moving image, Jock. The little one watching the end of a life. This real life work has been superb. I hope now that all in this ladies family find peace to grieve. Have a Blessed Sunday. Hugs. Di.

I think this is the best shot for a variety of reasons, the contrast of the generations, the old being laid to rest, the young carrying on, the contrast between the hearse and the backhoe, the end of yet another story, another life, while the new, young life is watching .. a new story beginning..
