I started around 12/2002 when my brother give me microsoft 2001!picture it that is where i learn. I like to help others in art showing them there a better way of doing things. Not just past a image thougth a filter and post it.But take the image a add to it// cut// bend the colors and make real art.Use layes and lays of images. each showing what is under it. blowing your mind as you make it hopeing others will look at it and say that far out man BIOborn on Sept 23, 1951 in lake charles,la. just haveing fun dont like doing the same things over and over. It like eating you eat diff things all the time.

this is one shot. I just copy and paste and ran the dancers thought a filter. copy and paste the whole image and get it out of sharpe then faded it to let the forground be sharpe

I say to you. What does some self appointed photo judge know about art? All kidding aside, if it is a photography competition, then the rules may call for unaltered photos; but, if is a competition of art, then it should let the artist be free. I like this composition greatly! I think it qualifies as art. Title it 'Color Me Fun'

I saw many works from a different sort processing, both on a film, and in a digital photo. At everyone the sights. Idea excellent.

i like stright from the camera shots my self. when i did 35mm shooting its all i had to work with. you could get a bit of color enhancements at some photo developers. but basicaly what i took i got. being not well off. i made each picture count. unlike digital shoot till you get it. i still like to do what i shoot i get shooting. i do resize and crop. i use windows picture and fax viewer and mwsnap. real high tech. If i need to lighten darken or enhance color i use free Image Analyzer 1.27 http://meesoft.logicnet.dk/Analyzer/ .though many like to manipulate photos useing ps and i even see many i like. i do very very little . for resizeing i use irfanview. So from the old school what you take you get. unless you were doing bw and developeing your own, photo maniplulation was not in the mix. i did do a few rolls of IF film but that was all. i have used 35mm lens filters on my digital by holding them over lens. got a whole bunch of these at a thrift store. get some nice effects useing them. blue filters nice for winter shots. but freeze your fingers holding blue filter on lol. so jock shoot what you like do with them what you will. if people like them they will look. if they don,t tough.

My preference is unrender photo work but I do like some manipulated work if it is done artistically and presents creativity and new ideas. I like this work you did. A mix of both un-touched and very touched. :-) This is good stuff, Jocko!

agree with comment above skiwillgee ) what the heck do they knowlol: I think this is very artistic and it took some thinking on your part which is always a good thing but then it's always in the artist eyes and what he/she was wanting to accomplish I learn that once here on render when I actually deleted a image after some not so nice remarks I will never do that again: good job jocko stick with your own beliefs:

I for one love to play around and do postwork, comes from my days of collage Art. I like what you've done here, your eyes are drawn to the very colorful happy people dancing. Art is all about controversy.

There's just no accounting for taste Jock. I for one love your work. You know, different strokes for different folks! I love the wide variety you post, and you always find interesting 'n' different things to photograph. This is great! Excellent work! (:

I like what you have done here Jock. Photography is very subjective and "one man's meat is another man's poison" so to speak. I think you should do what is right for you and not for others. Eileen xxx

I like your style of photography Jocko you always capture the moemnt so well

art or not art,it is in the eye of the beholder. what one raves about as an outstanding art piece is so much trash to another. I think one should do what makes them happy.if you are trying to create a particular style for a defined median then do what you got to,but other wise make your self happy .if others like it then so be. just because someone is a judge of a competition does not mean squat.usually a favor to a friend gets the part.then whoever sucks up to the judge gets favoritism.not always that way but look at how the American public has voted on Amer.Idol.the talented singers got booted off while the less desirable keeps on truckin' . back in a prior season the "loser" has far outsold records than the "winner"

beautiful capture and postwork,excellently done**

as an artist your free to do what you like, I think its more a question of how you define things. For me getting the message across counts, and with some I see see they doing post for post sake , just because they read how to use that filter and think it realy looks like it was handpainted the van gogh style. I know you can paint jock so if you want it to look like a painting paint it, and if you want it to look like a foto, snap it. If you feel inclined to use ps filters just do so and call it graphic art. ;)

Cool effect Jock! Bravo! Remember Art is about what you like, not what others tell you it should be! You and your work is unique, it is what I kike about it! ;)
