Wow..impressive ruins! love the sky and the green trees! I agree with you for the rating and I think i will do the same thing..they are not honest that's all! The samething then you for my pictures and I'm not glad :)

I think all of yours are 5 * if not 10 **!!!! I love this and all of your photographs. I do know that some folks may just forget that extra steop of clicking the rating section before they hit submit. I always do it as far as I know :)

This would be a great shot without that sky, but with the sky it's even better. Excellent capture.

Well I always click a 5 for you my friend (to the best of my knowledge - sometimes I may forget to click it at all because I disable them on mine and have done for a while now, but I've certainly never given you less than a 5 because none of your pictures are worth less than 5 in my opinion - you inspire me on all of my landscape shots!) As for this picture - well, I think it's one of the best I've seen from you - I love the POV, the colours, textures and lighting are up to your high standards, actually, I think you have surpassed yourself in this one my friend!! I agree with Cosine, the sky is fabulous. Excellent. xx

Thanks you thank you Hendesse for that's happening to me too and I didn't want to make a stir by bringing it up. It is confusing and hurtful to the photographer and not a cool game. Klaus, your photo is gorgeous and my ultimate vision of magical spookiness au natural. Colors are spectacular!!!

Good one! Very impressive scenery. I stopped rating long time ago on my images and stopped to rate as well. The rating system is broke. For me a comment is more meaningful anyway.

This is simply brilliant work...As for the ratings...I dislike the rating system anyways..I stopped allowing rating on my images long ago..I also stopped rating images as well..Words are much better than number in my opinion..

WOW! A very dramatic photo. It is totally excellent. My sincere compliments on this one. I never allow ratings on my images and rarely check ratings on anyones images. It is totally unfair to leave a nice comment and a low rating.

I have the same complaint and have since I started on RR. I have attributed most of it to some people just don't like the subject matter that well and they aren't rating on technical aspects. When they do give constructive suggestions, I don't mind getting a lesser rating, but when all my comments tell me how wonderful something is and I end up with a lesser rating, I also get miffed. This shot of yours is fantastic!!! The sky is the topper here. It draws the eye from bottom to top and then back down from top to bottom. Great mood and I love the texture and pov in this!

This is beautiful....I've been having the same problem...One of the artist's work that I comment on said there are some people going around messing with the ratings, I can't remember who said it but I'll go through my recents comments and find it for you, he mentions the problem but he turned off his ratings too and I am now going through the same thing...but in the past I have noticed that when I am commenting on someone's work the rating tab gets stuck and won't give the rating except on the lowest number, hopefully that is all it is in your case and mine...Anyway, I adore your work and this one goes in my favorites. Maybe we should all get with the head chiefs of rend and find out if there is truly a problem with the ratings...If we work together maybe we can fix it... Were your ratings still on this one would get a 5 from me.
