Description

Another of the woodland treasures: This time a bit of new green growth among last years dead brown leafs. And a bunch of tiny purple flowers. If a shy flower blooms in the forest and there is no-one to see it, is it still pretty?

Nice composition. Seems to me as if colors were a little bit saturated, as if this was necessary to highlight the newly born ensemble. However, this effect creates an unusual perspective of the image that makes it unique. And, yes, its still pretty, even if theres no one to see it; there are too many other living things in the forest to celebrate its grace.

The green plant is a real eye catcher and from my point of view it looks great!!

I would think that most things are pretty, for someone, somwhere. Pretty is no absolute attribute, so I think you need someone to see it, or feel it - but does we know what plants would think what's pretty? headaches mode off A nice and pretty picture.

Very good question. Similar questions have crossed my mind several times too. Another fantastic little corner you found, in your crawling through New England's forests. :-)

Nice photo. Do you happen to know what plant that is? Our yard has a lot of shade, and we are always looking for shade tolerant plants.
