Description
May I introduce you to Henry Rivett, age 5.
He was playing the part of an evacuee in World War II. Such a sweet little boy who really played the part so well, down to the very last detail.
I remember my mum telling me about the time when she and her sister were evacuated out of London during the war. My autie was such a naughty little thing that they sent here back, much to the disgust of my grandad! Of course, my mum was a little angel (just like me)!!!!
Have a lovely week. Eileen xx

Cute little fellow, with such a happy smile. Fantastic capture Eillen.

He's adorable, but I can imagine the anxiety of parents tying that enormous tag on their children and hoping that unlike luggage, their children would not become lost or mixed up! I like how you photographed him without any modern things intruding, too!

Well, it sure isn't Henry Higgins, of My Fair Lady fame. Too young and cute for that role. Jolly looking kid, with the shipping tag neatly attached to his collar. Time warps me back to those memorable days of World War II. Perfect capture, young lady!
