Description
May I introduce you to Henry Rivett, age 5.
He was playing the part of an evacuee in World War II. Such a sweet little boy who really played the part so well, down to the very last detail.
I remember my mum telling me about the time when she and her sister were evacuated out of London during the war. My autie was such a naughty little thing that they sent here back, much to the disgust of my grandad! Of course, my mum was a little angel (just like me)!!!!
Have a lovely week. Eileen xx

Ooooh, this really reminds me so much the famous italian movie "La vita bella" by Roberto Benigni... I love this image, extremely well done Eileen !

You really have a way with people, the way yo put them at ease as if they are under your spell. I envy you a little, as I wish I had that gift myself. Thank you for sharing. egmont

A terrific portrait and photo even down to the grubby knees, hand knitted jersey and stained shoes. I remember my mum telling stories about being in the blitz in London.

Excellent shot of this talented little actor. I have a feeling I would have liked to meet Auntie.
