Upload: 018 V Title: A treasure trove for Mother Nature Series: Autumn Leaves ~ A last hurrah Location: Wildcat Canyon Rd., Berkeley, California Date: December 28, 2005 Image: 22291M2b2s Camera: Sony DSC-V1, Full Frame Commentary: We come to the end of our journey and yet this stage in life is only brief, for soon new life will take the place of that which has been. Now this very personal series comes to a close, I look forward to the next four decades with full life and as I do this, I wish to share a most important lesson. Life is fragile; it can change in a blink of an eye, so live life to the fullest, not wasting a single moment. In return you will feel so much richer and not have any regrets when the moment comes to inhale that last breath. Other work can be seen at Timeless Photo .

Thank you for taking the time to look at my work and commenting. Vielen danke das sie die Zeit genommen haben meine Arbeit zu betrachten und darauf zu Kommentieren. Egmont

I have followed you in this good bye to a autmn time in our life and also follow you in the wonder of spring and new life. May your life be full of power and humility. Yes...life is fragile, we both know, and let us greet the rising sun every morning with gratefulness and live every moment of the days that are us given on this beautiful earth.

Good Day to you, Egmont. A superb work from you. This series is so special, I have walked with you lightly through this time in your life. I thank you for allowing us all to share in it. Life is fragile, we greet each new morn with so many blessings. We are doubly blessed when we have friends to share those blessings with. Have a wonderful day, my friend. Hugs. Diane.

My favorite of the three, there is such a wealth of shapes and textures to explore. And yet they all somehow work in perfect harmony. I can find no nits to pick. :) Here's to another 4 decades!

Excellent tribute to the fallen leaves and branches of autumn. . . they have worked much magic. . . nourish the plants, provide shade on a hot day, produce food, provide wonderful forrest beauty, and now, even as they rest and return to their roots, your fine art photo capture allows them to again delight our eyes. Excellent and artistic image!!!

Magnific, Sir! Many times i see or contemplate the nature, like this piece of zone, and always gives impressions of non-verbal nature. Achieved the entire aesthetic picture, as always in you.

A very beautiful close to a remarkable series.... This photograph is indeed special, and finds a very treasurable place in Mother Nature. Your commentary is absolutely beautiful, and compliments the image extraordinarily. It is indeed very important and awakening to come to such a realization --almost as to be given a second chance at life, with a completely different "lens" and outlook. This image is soft, and fragile, and very delicate indeed. It is a magnificent series, with a superb mini life lesson to be learned from a wise man of wise words, with extreme talent. Again, superb composition, and beautiful lighting throughout!
