Commentary: One of my favorite haunts happens to be around the University of Berkeley and within the city vicinity, where all sorts of fliers are stapled, taped, nailed and even screwed to telephone poles.
Over a short time the fliers are removed by the very same people, who stroll the streets adding new layers of handbills to the poles in an endless cycle to which there is no end.
What I find are abstract designs among these pieces of paper that are left behind and over time merge into a homogenous mass of paper and metal I find irresistible.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my work and commenting. Vielen danke das sie die Zeit genommen haben meine Arbeit zu betrachten und darauf zu Kommentieren. Egmont

Also an extraordinary and artistic capture. I can see both of these being very successful in a gallery exhibition. Great, as always, to see your work, Egmont.-M :^)

too much color for a bright-color-blind guy like me (especially the bluish-greenish part of spectrum). Very nice otherwise.

Perfect metaphor for the increasing difficulty to be heard within the exponentially increasing clamour of the world. A case of ever-diminishing returns. We might have been entitled to 15 minutes of fame in the sixties, but I think it must be down to 15 seconds by now - maybe less.
