What a mess! Interesting that you should mention setting them on fire. I've often wondered how much of a fire hazard poles like this were; I guess someone decided to find out. Excellent documentary photography, Egmont, even if it is a mess. LOL

wicked find and photo, a bit of digging through a cultural sedimentation. On the surface, a random punk band at the local hotel to Mr Hendrix himself at the lowest reaches. ty

I love the look of those staples everywhere, charred, burnished, jagged. This is a unique and creative shot and I find everything of interest, perhaps within "a mess" people find a bit of themselves. Excellent!

The fire aftermath adds further dimension to an already dense image. The mesh, the iron spike and the bits of paper and ink in various states of decay make a tremendous statement and a very intersting photo. I am still working on what that statment is... ;']

Good evening to you, Dear Egmont. Almost like a cremation!! I like very much that the jagged metal is revealed. A strong statement indeed that makes for a powerful piece of art. The burnt remains look like fabric. I think someone set fire to this for no other reason than..."because they can"... Odd. Happy evening for you my friend. Hugs. Diane.
