Description
I've been asked to show more of the spacecraft from my "Old Stuff" picture. The only problem was there wasn't more to see. It was a Hollywood facade. All you saw was what you got.
So I went about making the rest of the craft. Overall I like the way it came out. I should have entered this picture in the challenge. Oh well!
You've seen this astronaut before. I call him my "Major Matt Mason" figure. Named after a doll, I mean an action figure I played with as a little boy. I do own a copy of poser now. But I'm still not over my learning curve yet. The arm patch came from Masao Okazaki's site.http://www.starfleet-museum.org.
About the scene: I think Mat and his team have landed on an Earth-like planet. Only the oxygen is too rich to breathe. And so there is a need for EVA suits. Hey! It works for me.
After some time in the jungle, Mat comes across the spacecraft seen below. I'll let you make up the rest of the story.

A great ship design and a great scene, but it suffers from Bryce Blue - that blue tinge that often spoils beautiful work. I would try getting a greenish tint to the thing or just normalising the ambient atmosphere. Shades of Chris Foss here too I think - which is always a good thing! 4

Richly detailed ship. The patches on the arm are a nice detail, too. Another reason he could be wearing that suit: Alien Microbes. You never know what kind of bug is just waiting to pull an Orson Welles on you! Nice piece!
