Commentary: Every time I am in Berkeley, I never know what I will find. It is always like a treasure hunt, but after almost two years of covering this type of subject matter and with hundreds of photographs later, it becomes harder to see something one has not captured previously.

Where to begin..... this image is absolute eye candy...... but at the same time it leaves me overwhelmed as there is so much to see and experience. When I look at this image, I see a disfigured face of sort, almost as though attempting to hide or perhaps ironically willing to unconciously express particular emotions... that are perhaps difficult to do in any other form other than the collage form you have brilliantly chosen. From a sociological point of view, this image can be regarded in great depth and would make for a wonderful analysis of contemporary society, so much going on, so many distractions..... so many abstractions. This is a remarkable image, with great underlying meaning, to say the least. Very sophisticated and extremely complex and diverse. You are a master at taking such complexities and composing such expressions in such metaphorical and symbolic forms; such as this one in particular. I've been following the series, but this one speaks most to me-- the watchful eye, the panopticon gaze is extremely disconcerting, and yet remarkably enticing and almost enchanting. I shall state the obvious and tell you that you are a master of imagery, design, art and photography!

Love this Egmont, you really have an eye to pic the right piece out of quite a lot photos, if I know you. The framing adds a lot to make a whole of the pieces. A masterpiece among many!
