Description

This is for Sue (alhak), because she asked for an encore when I posted "Finale" the other day! .............. I was able to get these shots easily, since this rhododendron lives in my own front yard. No creeping around necessary! Notice the difference in the color between the bud and the full flower. This is not a trick of the light - the change is pretty dramatic. The flowers get paler and paler as they go along. ............. The image is nice and big, so if you click on full view, you can see each photo individually.

Sorry, but when I clicked on view the most I got was images of two flowers. In any event, another one of your many talents has come to the fore in this lovely collage of your beloved rhododendrons, all in a row! Neat text also! Mauve/purple must be the in-thing this year.
