Description

"...We have a slight problem." A missile has found its mark. While it hasn't hit the main body of the transport, it's certainly going to cause problems for this beleagered ship. The ship was modeled in Bryce, while the background, planet, and the explosion were all done in Photoshop. I hope you enjoy this, I am trying something rather new for me, in the method of making the explosion (I've avoided them mostly because they always seemed so hard to do) Comments and criticisms are certainly welcome, you all have already helped my work so much that I eagerly await learning still more. Thanks!

Thats a fantastic explosion: a shame to ruin such a well-designed ship, but war is hell I suppose!! :-) If I may make a comment: the stars look a little uniform in size - perhaps some variation would look good. A great scene, well done!

Modeling and composition are really cool. The blast is super. In my subjective opinion the stars could be shown not so "sharply". Nevertheless - good work. 5 from me. Mirek:)

Kool space scene, I think your explosion FX turned out pretty darn good ! maybe a couple more chunks of debris is the only suggestion I have this neat work ! ~Cheers~ :o)
