Description

This is a rootstock rose from Ann's garden. The grafted variety, whatever it was, died off years ago, leaving the original rootstock, which is healthy and blooming. Ann has this growing on a trellis on the side of the house.

Maybe natural is better, eh? This has so much depth of color, and the leaves look so healthy and dark green. Well shot, Tara.

Wonderful POV, clarity and contrast, and lovely blending of gold, mauve and white colors on this exquisite rose, whether rootstock or red climber! I believe I may have the same variety in my vast reservoir of rose photos, which I will release to the public sometime in the future.
