Description

Captured 6/23/07, believe it or not, 2.5 miles from my humble abode. It is my glowing edges Photoshop filter version of an almost two-story high sculpture-like arrangement sitting at the end of a road divider, to signify I don't know what. The original photo, taken in the very early morning under an overcast sky, makes the scene appear most drab, which prompted me to go postwork on the thing. I'm sure that Jocko500, the master at this kind of stuff with his witchcraft and arcane equipment, won't mind if I have some fun in this area. Coming up with a title was a lot more difficult than taking the picture. The sculpture reminded me of either missiles, lances, javelins, darning needles, or, even, ink tube fillers for ballpoint pens! Anyway, I've produced a few more variations on the original photo, featuring various Photoshop filters, that I'll post every so often, along with my daisy variations, that I know you enjoy so much. Enjoy the end of the weekend!

Well, even with your explanation of what this was originally, I still have no idea??!! LOL! I can say though that it is an eye-catching abstract with wonderful colours and has kept me glued to the screen for quite some time. Very imaginative use of postwork, which yes, most definitely does have a place with me too. Great shot and fantastic postwork my dear Harry. xx

Na this is something different and abstract and yeah I like it. Reminds me of a native animal here called Echidna in the "electified stage" among what you mentioned. I like ton see more of this art in a future, I am sure the daisies will not mind it...they so friendly.

it will stop a missiles from comeing in as it hit the top of the sculpture. It could be a crown for some gaint too. Just make you wonder

There is an ornamental hair band that ladies used in days gone by that looks much like this in shape, but not in color. One would pull it on over one's head, and then push it back like a headband to hold the hair in place in an allegedly pleasing pattern. I shall eagerly await further installments of this series, given that I do so enjoy your daisies! But Harry, mi amigo querido, I DO miss your roses.
