AloooooooooHa!
I've really enjoyed being off this past week, didn't do a whole heck of a lot but that's what you suppose to do on vacation.
My daughter and her girlfriend (both with newborns) dropped by yesterday for some shots of their baby's. It was quite and experience, let me tell you. Between the crying and fussing, breastfeeding, diaper changing, falling asleep, etc. I managed to get a few shots.
I had so many ideas to try that went right down the toilet after I started shooting. Babies, I found out, are ready when "their" ready, not when you are. You really have to be "Johnny on the Spot" to get any thing decent.
And here I thought like in my last post that fireworks were hard to get, babies are so much harder to shoot. I'm not sure if I'm cut out for baby pics.
Here's a shot for all the ladies that wanted a shot of my grandson Jaivan...in one of his more passive moments. I just had my daughter keep smiling and waited for little Jai to bust a smile. Sometimes he did and sometimes Mr. Moody showed up....It's all good you gotta love 'em!!

Beautiful portrait of your beautiful daughter and grandson!! But, why were you "crying and fussing, breastfeeding, diaper changing, and falling asleep...? Wouldn[t it have been easier to let mom and baby do all that and you just take the shots?!?.....Just joking! :)

LOL, I can just see you trying so hard?! It is NOT easy I tell you, the only reason I got a few good shots cause I spent sooooooooo many hours following mom & baby around just looking for that perfect moment. BUT, this one is priceless Dave, you'll all really cherish this for a long time! It's all worth it when you do get a couple of GREAT shots!!!! He's such a handsome guy, and of course mom is gorgeous. His pose is funny, with his arms like that... Perfect catch!!!! Aloha, and have a great weekend!!!!!!

a great shot, they both look so full of health and he looks like he has a sense of humour too. so many baby pics have that 'why are you pointing that thing at me, stop it or i will cry' look, but you have really caught a good moment in this one!
