Description

Captured 7/4/07 somewhere around the neighborhood. The original picture came out soft and pretty, but after having taken my hundreds of similar shots of roses, that can get old hat (Oh yeah, I can just see the purists running for their pitchforks and torches with that remark), so I decided to deviate from the norm and applied the crosshatch filter at the lowest level you can set it....the image would have been coarse at a higher setting, and we can't have that, right? So, voila, I like the finished product, a fresh new look for a rose, with neat potato chip petals and still purty colors/colours. Postwork rocks! Have a glorious and stellar day!

It looks silk screened. Can anyone ever get tired of roses?

This is a rose with near perfect form and astonishing color. the postwork is great but I bet it was just as wonderful before the postwork...just different.

I am novice on cs2 or any plugin use but looking your effect on this beauty I feel I want to try it too. Looks so unique. This work reminds me of the old postcards, they have that old charm mood what is so lovely as yours. BTW this rose is a nice fully bloomed pretty.
