Firstly I want to thank you for your warm welcome back, and the generous comments on my last posting.
If you love rule of thirds you're gonna hate this one :D
This shot was made a couple of hours later and not far away. The black cloud has gone and it is now a fine summers day at the Sycamore tree. Full size view available by clicking on the image. I'll let you work out the title ;)
Many thanks for viewing and your comments are as ever appreciated.
Richard.

Pleased that I got the title. Robin Hood with an American accent, turns up at Dover, walks to Nottingham via Hadrian's Wall. Still, "Churchill the Hollywood Years" addressed the balance a bit. Great shot again Richard.

Yes - I thought the same thing when I walked past this tree. It amused me how in the very silly movie 'Robin Hood Prince of Thieves' he is seen departing a boat in Dover and next moment walking along Hadrian's wall! What a feat that was - he obviously has some of the abilities of Cuchlainn! (i.e. a thousand foot step). Back to reality now...this is a fine image that captures the wonderful spirit of the place. Cheers!
