The name of this particular variety of rose really is Purple Tiger. I didn't make it up!

Oh my gosh! You are a doll and this photo is just about the most gorgeous thing I've seen! I absolutely love the form on this beauty. The shadows fall deep between the petals giving them distinction. Good Lawd -- as a British fellow employee of mine used to say -- I've seen a ton of various roses in my travels, but this is a new one on me! It looks almost like a canna/rose/tulip hybrid. Great POV, clarity, light/shadow effects, and striking playground of gorgeous magenta colors in this macro, Tara! I also like the ancillary rosebud on the left.
