Description

this is the state line of Oklahoma and Texas.you are looking toward Texas.I have never seen the river this high and Lake Texoma, Denison Dam just to the right about 4 miles has only been so high twice since it was built in the 1940's.it has been over flowing the overflow dam with the main gates wide open.the bridge is a railroad and the US Highway 75 is just to the right.of course before the dam was built the river left it's banks many times flooding the valley for miles in both directions thanks for having a look and any comments

Your POV gives a great deal of depth to this photo. Even when nature is raging, it can still be beautiful.

You certainly have been busy with your trusty second hand and pair of eyes. This is a great shot of bridge and water. Oh water, don't we wish we could have some of it here in California. Not a drop for so long. I cannot remember when it last rained. We are bone dry. That is why is so nice to see the water you have close by. Thank you sharing.

And I imagine that water is moving my way, though it will probably be the folks further south of me here in Louisiana that get the worse of it when it overflows the Toledo Bend reservoir. And that's not including the rain we got last night.

Cool, I know this bridge as I have been on 75 from Oklahoma and this is a great shot of it. Several of the bridges around Tulsa & Oklahoma City had water recently at the highest levels I've seen in my life time.
