Description
I dont do much traditional art work, but heres a hand/pencil drawing I did back in the fall of 2006 for an Illustraton class I had in my last semester of college. Probably one of, if not, the best classes I wound up taking at Kean University. It was taught by a guy named Mark Romanoski. Hes a pretty cool guy and a great painter. Check him out here...

Anyway, the assignment consisted of doing a photoshoot then compositing the photo of ourselves into a movie scene. I chose the scene from Aliens when everyone's retreating in the APC and an alien jumps in and gets a shotgun blast to the mouth. This was done over the course of 3 or 4 weeks during class time, so if I had to guess, Id say I probably put in about 12-14 hours working on this.

AWESOME! Fantastic detail light and shadow drawing. I used to draw these creatures all the time, it was a childhood obsession. This brings back lots of memories!
