Another photo from the Port of Miami. Here we can see some of the giant cargo cranes in action, with the two new ones (11 & 12) from my previous post in the background. It is amazing the ammount of industry going on in a place like this. I left the image large because there are a lot of interesting details to be seen, so please give it a click! ------

I am sure the skippers of the nineteenth century could not have conceived that the China trade would ever become the behemoth it is today. Interesting subject, scene and colors, Kort! The juxtaposition of the red lifeboats and the green hull is especially good.
