Captured 10/29/06, at the Auto & Copter Expo held annually at the beautiful Armed Forces Reserve Center in beautiful Los Alamitos, California.
Oh yeah, your typical point and shoot camera, right? Judging from the terrific photos I've seen on the Renderosity galleries, I'm sure most of you have this type lens on your camera. It puts the Hubble Space Telescope to shame. This one looks like it's been through the wars. The gentleman carrying this behemoth, who, incidentally, was relatively slight of build, must have had very stiff neck and shoulder muscles after lugging it around for the good part of a day.

Oh I could only wish for something this big (wey hey!!) ONE day I will own a magnificent camera with all the lenses to match - but I will have to hang them on my zimmer frame as I will probably be so old before I could afford such items!! When I have spent enough time to know what the heck I'm doing with the camera I have, I hope to get something along this line. My co-worker just bought one and she allowed me to hold it in my bare hands!!! Wow, what a feeling of intelligence you get holding a camera with a lens on it that big. And she has ordered more lens for it! Your capture is so clear and well lit, looking at it has me yearning for one of my own!

I'm sure this is quite wonderful! I have no idea what I'm looking at, of course, but it seems impressive. I still haven't finished reading the manual for the camera I already own! Aside from that, this is a great shot! Good composition and light!

OMG...what a huge lens. I don't have one and even if I would I would not be able to hold it steady so I have to give it a miss. You know this is a very good compo btw. Thanks to make us envy some good gear Harry.
